A person you adore can be a means of Grace, for Adoration of and Connection with the Sacred. True, spiritual, grace-given adoration of another person can be your opening to Union with G-D... Nature, persons, art ... can be Keys to open to the Temple of Beauty: Heart of Love, Bliss of Heaven-NOW...

Bhakti Yoga, as persons call it in Eastern faith, is the Path of Love. Literally, it means: "Yoking [to the One] through Love." In the Way of Love, Loving the One Spirit and others through that Love is the path to Union with G-D. Below is a sample of such Adoration in the Catholic tradition. This prayer to Jesus is based on the rite of Adoration of the Blessed Sacrament, and is for persons who are unable to go to the Sanctuary to adore in Silence the presence of Christ in bread and wine:
An Act of Spiritual Communion
My Jesus, I believe that you are truly present in the Blessed Sacrament. I love you above all things, and I long for you in my soul. Since I cannot now receive you sacramentally, come at least spiritually into my heart. As though you have already come, I embrace you and unite myself entirely to you; never permit me to be separated from you.

Entering the Inner Sanctuary
Enter this sanctuary time by settling down, becoming quiet, and breathing deeply a few breaths. Remind yourself you are in the Presence of Love. This place you are entering, within, is the inner Temple. Here, you are One with Spirit and all persons, and Nature. You may use a mantra, or prayer phrase, follow the breathing in-and-out, or witness the arising and falling of all around you as the manifestation of universal-Grace.
